Pathfinder Network Training Course!

Unique Opportunity: Pathfinder Network Training Course!
We are excited to invite everyone aged 18 and above in our community to take part in a free Pathfinder Network Training, offered in collaboration with New Liverpool Elementary School and in partnership with the Jeffery Hale Wellness Centre.
This special session will be led by Verity Jordan, Mental Health Program Coordinator at the Wellness Centre.
? Date: Thursday, January 30, 2025.
? Time: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
? Location: New Liverpool Elementary School, 1575 Chemin du Sault, Lévis G6W 2M2.
This training is open to everyone in the community who wants to enhance their understanding of how to support others' well-being. It's especially valuable for school staff, community workers, volunteers, peer support workers, addiction counselors, caregivers, and anyone interacting with individuals facing challenges. While not intended for health professionals, it provides practical tools to promote healthy living, self-care, and stronger community connections.
As a group, you will complete two mandatory training courses designed to help you:
- Recognize warning signs of deteriorating health and well-being.
- Guide individuals toward appropriate services or assistance.
Upon completing the session, participants will receive a Pathfinder Toolkit and a certificate of completion.
By offering this training on the South Shore, we aim to make it more convenient for local residents to participate and gain these valuable skills.
Becoming a Pathfinder is a meaningful way to support our community. Whether you are a volunteer or simply interested in this topic, this training offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the well-being of others.
We look forward to seeing you there! Together, let's build a stronger network of care and connection!
